Scratch is a collaboration between Andy Sowerby (visuals) and Matthew Grouse (music). The film uses abstract animation scratched directly onto super 8mm celluloid film. Throughout the film the music provides an altered lens through which to interpret the abstraction of the images and vice-versa, one component continually informs our experience and perception of the other.
